On October 27, 2026, a delegation from Semey Medical University (SMU), headed by Rector Dr. Altay Dyussupov and accompanied by Dr. Alma Nurtazina, Vice Rector for International Cooperation, visited CAMS PUMC. Vice President Pan Hui received the SMU delegation.

Vice President Pan Hui extended a warm welcome to the SMU delegation and gave a brief introduction to CAMS PUMC. He pointed out that Kazakhstan serves as an important partner under the Belt and Road Initiative. He expressed the hope that the two institutions would take this visit as an opportunity to deepen research cooperation and academic exchanges.

During the discussions, Rector Altay Dyussupov highlighted the long‑standing traditional ties and comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Kazakhstan.He stated that SMU looks forward to forging closer collaborative ties with CAMS‑PUMC and advancing joint efforts in medical education and scientific research.

Following the meeting, the SMU delegation visited the CAMS PUMC history museum.
